232 East 3rd st near Ave B, lower photo of lone demolition worker taken late afternoon. I knew this fellow and his name was John. I met him when he was the shop steward on the demolition of the Women's House of Detention on 6th Ave and bought a number of fire alarm boxes for about $5 each, some terra cotta pieces from him from 242 Spring St (Salvation Army Women's Lodge) for about $20 each, a building in the upper 50s and a couple of others. His company would finish up one building and John would let me know where he was going next. I never saw him again after this photo.
